Jazz Sketches

I have added my sketches sorry they are late.  I was having a lot of problems getting my creative juices flowing with this project.  I am doing my book cover on David Sanborn a well known jazz musician.,

Awareness Poster

I chose to to my awareness poster on the wounded warriors of America.  We have sent men and woman overseas to see to it that they keep us safe and free and yet a lot of people are not willing to give to them once they have done their job.  I am deeply affected by this and see so much around me because I am just a few miles from an Army base that houses the 10th Mountain division infantry and most of them have done a minimum of 3 tours in Afghanistan and Iraq.  They are wounded physically, mentally, and emotionally and it is our duty as Americans to now take care of those who have taken care of us.

 These are some of the photos I was thinking about using for this project.  I have not quite worked it all out completely yet.

Seasons Change

Because the seasons are always changing I felt that my first concept would be based on each one.  The sketches
show the different things we would think of based on each season.  This gives us a view of what we associate with
the changing seasons and how each year passes in different ways.

The second concept would also involve the seasons and how they affect the change in our being.  Most feel happy and cheerful in the summer months and the spring time knowing that the winter is coming to an end.  Summer brings much time
with family and friends and gives us the feel of freedom and the ability to get out and do things.

Newbie

Hello to all reading this!!!!  I am so excited about taking this course to further my ability to see the beauty of this world, as you all know we really need to absorb more beauty lately.  So glad to have this opportunity to do so.  Good Luck to all of you!
